Losing weight is not about being on a diet like keto, paleo, vegan, carnivore or any other diet… it’s about the quality of the food you eat…

You can eat just about any diet, but if the quality of the food you eat is bad then almost no diet will work long term…

If the quality of the food you eat is good, then you can make almost any diet work…

Let me tell you about the time when I was trying all kinds of diets thinking I needed to eat better…

One of the first diets I ever tried was the Abs Diet, which was a high protein diet with snacks in between meals… it worked to an extent… as long as I was going to the gym and keeping up with all the meals I had to eat… I felt like I had to live in the kitchen and it was definitely expensive to eat that much protein…

From there, I’ve tried many other diets including meal replacement shakes, keto, raw vegan, carnivore, slow carb, paleo, etc…

The problem with all of these diets isn’t the diet itself… it’s the quality of the food you eat…

Think about it this way… if you go raw vegan and eat fruits and veggies that are demineralized and sprayed with pesticides what do you think that’s going to do to your body?

It’s not going to make it healthy, is it?

The same applies for all other diets… if you go keto and eat “dirty” fats, you’re not going to lose weight… 

Often times the reason why these diets work for some people, initially at least, is because it makes people cut out the really bad foods from their diet… and that should be your ah-ha moment…

It’s not about finding the perfect diet… 

It’s about replacing bad foods in your diet with real nourishing foods…
