The word “diet” can have different meanings to people. For some, diet means to be strict about what you eat. For others it means to restrict what you eat.
Diet is really nothing more than your daily eating habits.
Most people default to the same foods consistently.
When people say “I struggle with consistency” with my diet, what they are saying is that they struggle with making changes to their diet. Their consistency with poor food choice is there. It’s the change in eating habits that’s hard.
Once you understand that consistency is not the problem, then you can shift your focus to making diet changes permanent. That’s when you will feel you are being consistent with your diet.
