#1 Eating low fat...

I used to think that eating lean meats and veggies was a "healthy" way to eat...

... but when I realized that fat is needed for energy production and good sleep, I realized why I felt so tired all the time and had a hard time staying asleep...

#2 Eating low carbs...

"cut out sugar, dairy, and grains" they say out there...

That's because if you have gas, bloating, or constipation, then it's likely that you lack probiotics or have bad gut flora... or both...

When you have gut issues, then eating carbs makes you gassy and makes it almost impossible to lose weight...

... but the downside of cutting out carbs if you have gut issues is that it makes you feel tired and you won't get good sleep...

If you have gas, bloating, or constipation, the trick isn't to cut out carbs, but rather to learn how to re-introduce carbs into your diet...

#3 Going keto without understanding fats

Fat is premium fuel for the body... but not all fats are good for you...

"Fat burns fat"... but only if you eat the right fats...

The problem is that people often hear about how much weight people lose on a keto diet and decide to give it a try...

They hop on pinterest, find some recipes and give them a try...

... but the fats they are eating make the keto diet what I call "dirty keto"...

... meaning that the fats they are using are not good quality fats and so they find their energy levels drop, or they gain weight, or both...

When you understand which fats are good for you, then you'll be able to use fat to burn fat, get more energy, and sleep better...
